SHERGAON AND EAGLNEST WILDLIFE SANCTUARY

The beautiful Shergaon Village located in the West Kameng District of Arunachal Pradesh is a lovely little village surrounded by lofty mountains of the eastern Himalayan range. This is also the home of Sherdukpen community who practice Buddhism along with animism and have their own unique lifestyle and culture.

As part of the focus on community-driven tourism IT Nature Club is happy to announce a cultural and wildlife exploratory tour to this little-known gem of Arunachal Pradesh which is nestled in a valley punctuated by three streams. As Shergaon Circle covers magnificent forests and shares its boundary with the only protected area of Western Arunachal landscape (WAL), the Eagle Nest Wildlife Sanctuary, we will also be exploring the Eaglenest Wildlife Sanctuary known the world over for its amazing avian diversity, including the Bugun Liocichla.

As we are working with the local community of  Sherdukpen and Bugun , we are offering the 6 nights all inclusive package with pick n drop from Guwahati with three nights stay with all meals in Shergaon with local guide and three nights with all meals in Eaglenest with a birding guide , wildlife and cultural trails. Please note that offer is for a minimum of four people travelling together.
