About Jungle Inn:
Nagarhole used to be
the private hunting grounds of the Maharaja of Mysore and was converted to
a 285 sq kms. wildlife sanctuary in 1955. It was expanded and achieved National
Park status in 1983.Jungle Inn is located
in Veeranahosahalli, on the northern fringe of the Nagarhole National Park.
This park, also known as the Rajiv Gandhi National Park admeasures 643 sq.
kms. and is part of the larger Nilgiri Biosphere Reserve, which also contains
the Bandipur Wildlife Sanctuary also in Karnataka, as well as the Mudumalai
National Park in neighbouring Tamil Nadu and the Wynad Wildlife Sanctuary
in Kerala.
Accommodation
:
Jungle Inn has colonial
style bungalows with 7 private rooms and 3 dormitories. The Jungle Inn can
house 38 people in all, 2 per private room and 8 per dormitory. All the rooms
have attached bathrooms and each dormitory has two attached bathrooms.
Restaurant Facilities :
Guests are served food
at thatched Gudara.Both European and Indian food are served here. Menu is
specially designed to cater to the tastes of both vegetarians and non-vegetarians.Restaurant Facilities :

Trek inside the park Rs.200 per person per hour (min 6 pax)plus guide charges.Rs.300
Elephant joy ride Rs. 100 per person per ride 15 min (min 4 pax)transportation extra, subject to availability
Visit to Irpu falls and trek at Brahmagiri hill range Charges depend on group size, duration of trek, and jeep hire and guide charges.
Coracle ride Rs. 250 per person per hour (min 4 pax) transportation extra
Tribal dance Rs. 2000 per performance (60 min)
Camp fire Rs. 500 per hour(max 2 hours)
Still water River rafting Rs. 300 per person per ride (min 8-10 pax), jeep hire extra. Seasonal / subject to availability.
White water rafting Rs. 1500 per person (approx 2 hours)(min 5-6pax)transportation extra
Rappelling Rs. 350 per person per ride (min 8-10 pax), jeep hire extra. Seasonal / subject to advance booking.
Visit to Tribal settlements/Tibetan monastery/handicraft centre In guests own vehicles accompanied by a guide. guest who stay for 2 nights
Video camera Rs. 250 per camera per trip
Digital/still camera Rs. 150 per camera per trip.
Bicycles for riding nearby campus Rs 20 per hour

Accommodation is on a twin sharing basis in double rooms and multiple sharing basis in tented cottages/family rooms/camping tents
Food, served buffet style, includes Lunch, Dinner and Breakfast (veg & nonveg).
Extra meals (outside the room plan) can be ordered at an extra cost. Breakfast Rs. 100: Lunch/Dinner-Rs. 200per person.
If extra meals are required, the Resort Manager will have to be informed well in advance.
Rates mentioned here are inclusive of all taxes.
Room plans start with lunch on check-in day and ends with breakfast on check out day.
Safaris, trekking inside the park, elephant joy ride are subject to permissions from the Karnataka Forest Department and the availability of the vehicles/naturalist/guides/elephants.
Please note that we do not guarantee safaris, etc, which are primarily governed and controlled by the Karnataka Forest Department and subject to changes from time to time.
We shall not be held responsible for last minute cancellation if the Forest Department cancels the same.
Transport to jungle inn: Pick-up and drop from Bangalore/Mysore can be arranged at an extra cost.
