About Misty Woods:
Misty Woods is nestled in a part of in the mountain ranges called 'Karadi moole', built in an estate that sprawls over 100 acres of land. More over this untouched nature is on the foot of the highest peak in Coorg ‘Thadiyante Mol’ and barely a step away from ‘Nalknad Palace’, built in 1794, famous for its painting and carvings.

You approach this revolution of hospitality thru' winding roads by the side of paddy fields, coffee plantations and lush green mountains draped in mist. The rich aroma of Coffee and Pepper, the enticing fragrance of Cardamom and wild Honey and the fruity flavour of Oranges beckons you to dream world, free from pollution and hustle bustles of the outer world.

The gurgling streams on both sides of this land becomes a roaring water fall during the rainy season.

Accommodation:
In Misty Woods tourist village, the cottages are built in Kerala style architecture according to the vastu sastra, in tune with the environment- with clay hollow bricks and wood . Each cottage has a view of its own and the stay here refreshes you.The Reception Foyer is a unique blend of traditional and modern style.

Restaurant ‘All Spices’ is our thatched round restaurant, which caters tingling tastes to your taste buds ranging from the exclusive cuisines of Kerala, Coorg, North Indian,Chinese and Continental.From here you can enjoy the lovely sight of distant landscapes and the cool breeze makes you enjoy the food even more.

Activities :
The activities simply natural, like an exciting trek through the forest exploring the amazing nature. A tour around the plantation to know about the spices, a thrilling trek to the highest peak in Coorg ‘Thadiyante Mol’. From the top pf peak you can enjoy the breath taking view of nature below you and Arabian Sea near Kannur coast, if it is a clear day. In the evening with the cozy chill you can enjoy the warmth of the campfire.

Location :
Air: The nearest airport are Mangalore (135 kms) and Bangalore (260 kms).

Train: The nearest railheads are at Mysore, Mangalore, Hassan and Kannur.

Road: From Bangalore, there are two routes to Coorg. Both routes are almost the same distance (around 250-260 kilometers).
The route via Mysore, is the oft-frequented route. The stretch after Hunsur is scenic and the drive through the coffee plantations is absorbing.

Bus: The  bus service in Madikeri has connections to almost every place in Coorg. Alternatively, there are regular buses to Mysore, Mangalore, Hassan, Chikmagalur, Shimoga and Kannur(Kerala).
