About the Resort:
Hotel Coorg International - invites you to this pristine setting for a holiday. Coorg International is the only hotel in Coorg which offers all three star facilities, including a swimming pool and health club and is located near the valley town of Mercara.
Coorg -The land of Cofee, Cardamom, Oranges and great warriors. The land of Hills, Waterfalls, lush green rain forests where nature still survives in abundance. Situated in the western ghats at about 1400 mtrs above sea level, it is an ideal setting for an exotic holiday.
Coorg is also home to the Kodavas, the famous warriors. The Kodavas still follow a life style full of rich traditions and culture. Unlike the other Dravidians, the Kodavas are distinctly tall and fair complexioned. The hilly district of Coorg in Karnataka is land locked . Silver Oaks -the multicuisine resturant with a wooden dance floor offers Indian, Continental and chinese cuisine, and of course the ethnic Coorgi cuisine.
Lost Horizon - the well stocked bar has all kinds of popular wines and liquors to keep your holiday spirits soaring.
Mandapam - the Banquet cum Conference Hall can seat about 250 persons in theatre style seating. Basic Conference facilities and aids are available.
Upvan - the greens overlooking the town has a swimming Pool and a Pool side Bar be cue and for the health conscious Muscles - the Health Club is close by.
ACTIVITIES:
Golf - Mercara Downs - the nine hole golf course is just 04 kms from the Hotel. Guests have to carry their own Clubs and kit. Caddies are available. Ice boxes and Packed lunches can be arranged as the Glof Club does not have a Restaurant / Bar.
